Why InterviewNail is better for many users
1. The customer knows exactly what the software costs
InterviewNail publishes a $95 regular price, a $79 introductory price, and a clearly separated $89 introductory or $101 regular app-plus-credits bundle. OfferGoose's public English materials did not expose a comparably stable US price at review.
2. Profiles are separate, reusable, and local
Each target opportunity can store company, role, stage, job description, focus topics, and selected local Content. OfferGoose personalizes live reminders from a resume, but does not publicly document the same company-profile and local-note architecture.
3. Local Whisper provides a specific privacy claim
OfferGoose confirms system-audio capture. InterviewNail can additionally state that raw audio is transcribed locally, rolling partials remain local, and temporary recordings are removed after processing.
4. The user can avoid proprietary AI metering
BYOK gives the customer a direct OpenAI or Anthropic relationship. InterviewNail credits are optional rather than the only route to AI.
5. The screen tool handles explanation and review, not only answers
Screen Explain helps the user communicate what is visible. Screen Wrong can audit code or interfaces for probable problems, including accessibility and usability concerns.

InterviewNail offers a more transparent and controllable Windows product: free local preparation, one-time software ownership, raw-audio transcription on the device, OpenAI or Anthropic BYOK, and separate workflows for listening, candidate context, solving, explaining, and auditing.
